Damn. One thousand posts. I was thinking long & hard about who or what I should dedicate such a momentous (in my own small world) post to. Many options ran through my head; Kobe Bryant, Lupe Fiasco, a movie, Swedish Fish, Cirque Du Freak, air, How I Met Your Mother, music, the Lakers, lions, sin, faith, everything. Once I started typing though, all those other things faded away quite quickly. I guess I knew who I would dedicate it to the second I started writing… You. Just you. The one who even got me, reluctantly, to even get a Tumblr in the first place. There were no other options. JJ, this one’s for you.
Hey everyone, due to the recent surplus of additions on the Nexflix Instant Stream including the classic X-Men Animated Series & The Amazing Spider-man show - I decided to make a wishlist of my top ten shows I would love to see added (excluding the previously mentioned two, of course.) I thought it’d be dope if it got reblogged with all of your wishlists too, hell - maybe it may lead them being added!
10. Happy Days

“Sunday, Monday…” This classic TV show deserves a spot on Netflix if Cheers got one. Seeing the Fonz and all his coolness on the Instant Stream is definitely a must.
9. Gargoyles

The addition of this ’90s cartoon would be a great addition to the animated features they already have on Netflix. The cartoon is darker in nature than most animated shows and it would add much depth to the catalog.
8. Boy Meets World

The life lessons of Corey Mathews would be such a great fit on the Instant Stream, this classic 90’s show has become a favorite among many and I know I am not the only one that would love to revisit it.
7. Dexter’s Laboratory

This Cartoon Network comedy has always been a pleasure to watch, from it’s quirky animation to the evil genius rivalries. Dexter’s Lab would be a great choice to be the first Cartoon Network show on the Instant Stream. Hopefully, it could even be the start of bringing them all on it eventually.
6. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

“Now this is a story all about how My life got flipped-turned upside down…” Seriously, who doesn’t know that song by heart? This show was MADE to be on Netflix. Regardless if we have all memorized the episodes by now or not, due to endless viewing hours on Nick at Nite, it deserves it’s spot.
5. Saved by the Bell

The adventures of Zack, Kelly, Slater and the rest of the gang was what being a teenager was all about. From Zack’s brick of a phone, to Jessie’s short battle with addiction, vacations to Malbu and everything in between - every kid deserves the chance to grow up with this show. Don’t deprive the younger generations, Netflix!
4. How I Met Your Mother

The show about a mother who the viewers haven’t even met yet, is perhaps one of the greatest mysteries on television that didn’t even mean to be! The cast and laughs on this show will leave any viewer on the edge of their seats, desperately trying to put the pieces together of Bob Saget’s - er.. Ted Mosby’s love life. This addition would simply be Legen… wait for it - DARY!!!
3. Batman: The Animated Series

Viewed by many as the best animated show of all time, this classic show was Nolan’s inspiration for his Batman films. If that isn’t a good enough resume for Netflix, I don’t know what is!
2. Entourage

The story of the childhood friends from Queens moving to L.A. to support a potential acting career was one of the first staples of success among the HBO series. The fact that the Sopranos already has a slot on Netflix is cause enough to add Entourage, and in the future maybe even Curb Your Enthusiasm, into the mix. I can see HBO being a little hesitant about the rights, but since this is the final season - maybe we will get to see Vince and the gang on a Netflix near you soon.
1. Seinfeld

Isn’t it obvious? The best show of all time needs to be on the greatest stream of all time. Plain and simple. THIS is how you make a show about nothing and have it become the most successful show in television history. Not that there’s anything wrong with those other shows… but there can be one king of televison. His name is Jerry.
